  1. Gerety 2022 announces new B2B category and deadline extension
The Gerety Awards announces the extension of its deadline until 15 April and adds a new CUT for B2B.

The new category will celebrate the best of creativity in the promotion of products and services between professionals. Commenting on the announcement of the new category, Leticia Arreola, creative director at Cheil Mexico and member of the executive jury, explains: “The role that agencies have with their clients has evolved and they now function more as strategic partners. Both B2C and B2B have one thing in common: they need to have direct, honest and differentiated communication to gain the attention of their consumer. And that is precisely what good creativity does. Although creativity has been the dance partner of B2C for decades, B2B is proving that it also has the necessary rhythm to be on the same dance floor. Hence the importance of including a category that celebrates and rewards creative work within this sector.”

TV/Cinema, Print, Alternative, Online Films, Digital, Radio, Product & Packaging Design, Mobile and Integrated campaigns are the different media types that can be entered into any of the CUTS (categories). The pieces will be judged within each CUT, regardless of the media type, except for the Craft Cut which will be judged by craft type.

The Gerety shortlist and the Agency and Production company of the year by country will be announced in June together with the jury insight panels, organised in collaboration with leading publications from around the world. Gerety scores points for key rankings, including the prestigious World Creative Ranking. Campaigns that have been rewarded at other major creative festivals have also triumphed at Gerety but with a very important difference: winning at Gerety means that the work connects with the female audience.
