We have great news! One more year the Commercial Film Workshop will be held at the Zorrilla Theater in Valladolid. We are waiting for you there on October the 19th and 20th!
This emblematic place was inaugurated on October the 31st in 1884 with the work “Unconfessed traitor and martyr” by José Zorrilla. At the beginning of the 20th century, it also became the first talking theater in the city, until in 1999 it closed due to its poor condition.
The habitants of Valladolid, who refused to let their theater die, made the Provincial Council of Valladolid take charge of it and its restoration.
There were several years of archaeological excavations and restoration works, but the Zorrilla theater reopened its doors as a performing arts center in 2010.
