“Ideas that may be uncomfortable today may find their place in the future” – This is the premise of C Day 2021, organised by the Club de Creativos (c de c) from 14th to 19th June in a hybrid format.
In this 18th edition, they will give proposals and ideas that are out of time; that may seem strange or uncomfortable today, but that build different realities and make it possible to shape a sustainable, habitable and, above all, human world.
It is about discovering how to work, live, eat or move differently and how creativity can be the key to designing those other ways of doing it in so many different areas of life.
The presentation video entitled “Sweet Utopia” was created by Oriol Villar and David Ruíz. The production company in charge of the campaign was Albiñana, member of the APCP, with Ramsés Albiñana as Executive Producer.
The Día C seeks not only to inspire and connect, but also to provoke reflection. For this reason, a programme has been prepared to listen to reflections on the future of work and the effect of automation, to architects rethinking cities as a continuation of nature; to teachers devising formulas to teach how to learn in this new scenario; to technologists combining their knowledge with humanities; to companies reviewing their production processes to reduce their footprint, or to brands rethinking their commitments to people. Bringing together all of these professionals that have relied on creativity and disruptive thinking as a working tool.
All the content will be accessible through an online platform, developed by Futura Space, where the pieces selected for the Spanish National Creativity Awards will also be exhibited. Participation in the event may be entirely online or mixed, although for the latter there will be a limited capacity, in accordance with the regulations in force in the Basque Country.
The Día C 2021 will close on 19th June with the Spanish National Creativity Awards Gala, the c de c de Honor, which this year went to the creatives José Luis Esteo and Daniel Solana, and the Juan Mariano Mancebo Award for young talent.
