By June 27, 2024 News No Comments

Central Films is a production company based in Spain, USA and Latin America, specialized in advertising films for more than twenty-two years. During this time, with the help of great directors, it has established itself as one of the most important production houses worldwide. Its philosophy focuses on understanding that no two productions are alike, so it is essential to provide fully customized services to meet their respective unique needs.

They have worked with the most recognized brands, crystallizing the most memorable ideas, and accumulating more than 2,500 days of filming. One of their most important projects was the recent film “Late”, directed by Rodrigo García Saiz, partner and director of Central Films, which tells a love story shaped by the moments of being late, while reminding viewers of the moments when timing is everything.

But this has only been a long prologue, as they are determined to return to the forefront of advertising filmmaking, taking advantage of the newest technologies to face all challenges and create new ones, to stay ahead of the curve.

We spoke with Raúl García, Executive Producer and Flor R. Veidez, Executive Producer of Central Films.

How do you work to make each production unique, offering fully customized services?

From the moment the project arrives to our hands, we like to dedicate the maximum time together with the director to think about the ideas to propose and make a production design suitable for each piece, always hand in hand with the agency and client to be aligned.

Of course, we can’t forget to thank the technicians we work with, who are family to us and always do an impeccable job. What is your experience in creating large projects worldwide?

First of all, we set objectives and management from the beginning, regardless of the project. As we mentioned, we work very closely with the Director at all times in the development of the whole piece.

So in the end it is a joint work of the whole team that participates in it.

What works would you like to highlight or consider relevant (as is the case of “Late”) in which you have been involved throughout your professional career?

Late is indeed a very special project that when it came to us we embarked with the agency without thinking about it. Other works that we can highlight are the “Superbowl” spot, “MD Anderson Foundation” and the most recent short film “The Museum of Memory & Tolerance” made by Rodrigo García Sáiz.

Phoenix “Superbowl”:

Fundación MD Anderson:

“The Museum of Memory & Tolerance” – Odyssey:

Have you ever thought about expanding your services to other projects?

Of course!!! We have already done other types of projects outside of advertising. Short films like “Indigo” by Maxi Sterle, documentaries like “9 Wheels” by Santiago Burin des Roziers and “Lluvia” opera prima by Rodrigo García Saiz, and we are in pre-production of his second feature film.

What is your long-term vision for Central Films as a production company?

The most important thing is to remain as we are and work in the best possible way to provide the best possible service to agencies and clients.
