Miguel Olivares (co-founder and creative director of La Despensa/director of El Sol) and Germán Silva (Founder and CEO of PINK/Partner of JUNGLE21 and creative vice president of ACT) carried out the “Presentation of the 37th edition of the Ibero-American Advertising Communication Festival – El Sol”. Which will also be held in Malaga. But why have they returned to the city?
The speakers commented that there are many reasons for this, they are currently in a moment of transformation and believe that Malaga is the city that represents this, as it is in continuous change/evolution and can be mimicked through the industry of this sector.
In addition, the Malaga City Council team was very quick to welcome them. They made a summary video, where they have compiled several of the projects that have been awarded the Grand Prize of El Sol in its 37 editions. They also shared the idea that "this year, El Sol will be a festival to meet one another, focusing on ideas that are capable of transforming. As the two speakers described, advertising is a reflection of the society in which they are generated and they intend to keep them avant-garde so that they are in line with the passage of time; in an honest, nclusive and relevant way.
