Navarra Film Commission and the APCP collaborate to attract commercial film shoots in the region.

A dozen companies will visit different locations from the north to the south of the region between 25 and 27 April.

Navarra Film Commission (NFC) and the Association of Advertising Film Producers (APCP) have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of promoting the region as a destination for advertising shoots. As a result of this agreement, they have organised a three-day Fam Trip with a dozen production companies that will visit different locations in the region between 25 and 27 April.

On Monday 24 April, the reception will take place in Pamplona. On Tuesday 25th, a tour of the capital of the Comunidad Foral and the Zona Media has been organised. In addition, on that day, the participants will hold a meeting with professionals and companies from the audiovisual sector in Navarre at Bodegas Otazu, which will be attended by the Regional Minister of Culture of the Government of Navarre, Rebeca Esnaola. On Wednesday 26th, they will visit the north of Navarre and on Thursday 27th, the day that concludes the Fam Trip, they will travel around the Ribera and the Bardenas.

During this trip, the business delegation will visit some of the most emblematic sites in Navarre: Zugarramurdi, Señorío de Bertiz Natural Park, Elizondo, Quinto Real, Leurtza Reservoir, Eugui Royal Arms Factory, Urbasa and Andia Natural Park, Otazu Wineries, Pamplona, Jorge Oteiza Museum, Irati Forest, Larra-Belagua Station, Irache Monastery, Navarra Circuit, Artajona, Foz de Lumbier, Olite Royal Palace, Bardenas Reales.

The Navarra Film Commission is currently holding meetings with local agents, who have first-hand knowledge of the locations, to provide support and information to the productions and to complete the design of the Fam Trip. In this way, work is being done to promote the filming of advertising campaigns, which last an average of two days and which, like the filming of series and films, represent an opportunity for professionals and companies in Navarra, and are a stimulus for various sectors of the local economy.

According to the latest study carried out by the APCP to measure the economic impact of advertising film production in Spain, the turnover in 2021 was more than 526 million euros, with an investment in productions of 266 million euros and the creation of 103,392 jobs.

According to data from the Navarra Film Commission, the most popular locations for advertising spots in Navarra are roads and mountain passes; desert landscapes; urban areas and city centres; or unique spaces such as wineries or modern buildings and industrial warehouses.

NAVARRA FILM COMMISSION

Navarra Film Commission is the audiovisual public service office, launched by the Government of Navarra in 2009, with the aim of promoting Navarra as an audiovisual shooting destination for audiovisual productions, assist production companies and professionals choosing Navarra to set their proyects and support the navarrase audiovisual sector. Integrated into the public society of the Government of Navarra NICDO, it is responsible for providing information and promoting agreements and actions aimed at consolidating and facilitating these shoots, serving as a link between the Government of Navarra, public administrations and individuals and the audiovisual industry. With this objective, it offers its information, advice and processing services free of charge to producers, agencies and audiovisual companies to facilitate decision-making regarding the production of a shoot, recording or photographic shot and to ensure that interested companies optimize their resources, both human and material and economic.

APCP

The Association of Advertising Producers of Spain (APCP) groups together the main advertising producers in the country and works to defend the economic and social interests of the sector. From this entity, active communication is maintained with associations, clients, agencies, producers, artists, technicians and suppliers of the national and international sector, as well as with official bodies. Its associates work in various formats: animation, VFX, branded content, documentaries, TikTok, YouTube, among others. This association bets on sustainability in shoots, young talents, diversity, inclusion and parity.

NAVARRA FILM INDUSTRY

Navarra Film Industry (NFI) is the brand of audiovisuals in Navarra. It encompasses public and private agents in the sector: the Government of Navarra and the public society NICDO -which also manages the Navarra Film Commission-, the audiovisual cluster CLAVNA and the association of companies and professionals in the sector NAPAR; all united around the purpose of providing service, promoting and growing opportunities and projects in the audiovisual field.
