Does green sell?

Last Friday we followed a streaming of a meeting organised by Anuncios, our partners in the IX Commercial Film Workshop in Valladolid, and the creative agency Comunica+A about sustainability.

We think it is important to talk about this meeting and others that are taking place because it shows that the advertising sector is interested in being a sustainable industry.

To the question “does green sell?” there were different opinions, “yes it sells, but it should sell more and so there is a long way to go”, to “I don’t think it sells, but it helps potential clients to have a better perception of the company, which helps to better position products and services”, or “it doesn’t sell, but it excludes it from consumer preferences if companies are not compromised with it”.

We all agree that sustainability has to be part of all companies, brands, agencies and production companies,it is true that there is still a long way to go, but together we will make it.

We have said many times, our sector is a huge communication tool and has an educational role, so we have a responsibility and we can be an example for society to follow.
