TwentyFourSeven and Vivi Films stand out at the international competition.
The 2025 edition of the AICP Awards in New York was experienced with the usual combination of creativity, technique, and celebration in support of independent audiovisual production. During AICP Week, which kicked off on June 3rd at The Times Center and culminated with the gala at MoMA on June 5th, the winning pieces were screened in three key categories: Advertising Excellence, Most Next, and Best of Show Post. The atmosphere combined the aura of a creative laboratory and recognition of the craft, with speeches from figures such as Matt Miller, CEO of AICP, and Patrick Milling-Smith, president of the AICP Show jury.
The big winner in the Advertising Excellence category was TwentyFourSeven with “THE FLOCK” for Apple, directed by Ivan Zachariáš along with the production company Smuggler. The campaign, a Hitchcockian thriller with clear references to “The Birds,” addresses the issue of privacy; with a result that also earned it awards in Animation, Concept, and Direction, confirming the mastery of both the piece and its production.
On the other hand, the campaign “ASSUME THAT I CAN” for CoorDown by Vivi Films along with Indiana Production has received the Public Service Announcement award. This is the spot that breaks with the prejudice that people with Down syndrome ‘cannot’.
