  • We are starting the engines for the preparation of what will be the 13th Commercial Film Workshop. Once again, our major event will land in Valencia on November 6th and 7th, this time at the Ateneo Mercantil. After thirteen editions, we continue to recognize independent production and post-production companies as the great economic engine of the industry, a guarantee of transparency and quality. This year’s visual identity is the result of the work of Fuego Camina Conmigo, winner of “Best Agency of the Year” at the past APCP Awards; with the collaboration of our associated post-production company, Metropolitana. See you in Valencia!

 

  • Cannes Lions 2025 is already here! Next week – from June 16th to 20th at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes – the festival presents a program designed to explore the future of creativity and advertising innovation. The agenda will include more than 150 hours of presentations, workshops, “Live Judging,” and tours of finalist and award-winning pieces, focused on five key areas: Insights & Trends, Innovation Unwrapped, Creativity Toolbox, Talent & Culture, and Creative Impact. You can check out the full program. Additionally, this year we have representation on the jury, as our associate Eva de Lera, from Lobo Kane, is present. 

 

  • On June 21st, the first edition of the APDICE awards will be held, where Adriana Piquet, the general director of the APCP, will be part of the jury. The most outstanding casting works of 2024 will be recognized in categories such as feature film, short film, television series, international projects, advertising —both national and international— and performing arts. This is a meeting point for colleagues and professionals in the sector, with the aim of giving visibility and value to the work of casting direction within the audiovisual and cultural field, representing the more than 70 members of the association. 

 

  • On June 24th, El Periódico PublicidAD will hold the VIII edition of the Branded Content Forum #ForoBrandedContent, in the emblematic Callao City Lights space in Madrid. This meeting, aimed at agencies, developers, and advertisers, will delve into the latest trends, success stories, and narrative strategies of brand content. Sector experts will gather to discuss how brands can connect emotionally with their audience through relevant, innovative content aligned with the values of each consumer.
